Founded in 2010 by John Smith, Wincci® has come a long way from its beginnings in a small watch shop in Los Angeles, California. Our Story
The Wincci® story began when founder John Smith inherited his grandfather’s collection of antique pocket watches. He became fascinated with horology and taught himself how to disassemble and rebuild the intricate pieces. What started as a hobby soon turned into an obsession, and John set out to design his own watches.
He wanted to create modern yet timeless watches that were well-crafted but also affordable. After months of research and sourcing materials, John produced his first line of minimalist watches in 2010 and opened a small workshop in Los Angeles.
The watches quickly gained popularity for their simple but striking designs and excellent value. John expanded the collection with more styles and increased production. Within a few years, Wincci® became one of the fastest-growing microbrand watch companies.

Our founder John Smith provides the vision and drive behind Wincci®. His lifelong love of watches sparked the idea for the brand. John oversees design and ensures quality manufacturing.
Eva Chen heads up our talented in-house design team. She studied industrial design and joined Wincci® in 2015. Eva leads the design process from initial concept to final execution.
James Wu, our head watchmaker, honed his craft restoring antique timepieces. His expertise in movement calibration and assembly ensures optimal performance. James trains new watchmakers and quality checks all watches.
Alex Yamada, our operations manager, streamlines production and fulfillment. He implements best practices for efficiency while maintaining our high standards. Alex’s optimization allows us to provide such great value.

Our Workshop
While many brands outsource production, Wincci® watches are assembled in our Los Angeles watch workshop. We take great pride in our in-house manufacturing.
Our intimate 5,000 square foot facility allows for meticulous quality control. We hand-assemble each piece under the watchful eyes of our master watchmakers. Their expertise is vital for setting and regulating the movements.
The workshop’s access to suppliers also enables us to rapidly prototype and test out new watch designs. Our designers work alongside watchmakers to evaluate and refine each creation. This synergy means you can always expect cutting-edge and flawlessly executed styles from Wincci®.
